It always amazes me that no matter what we do…the day ends and the morning comes. I guess the question then becomes how do we spend our time in between the sun rising and sun setting? As one of the partners here at BB&R, I consider myself so very lucky to be able to ask this question of myself and those that are part of our community. It is through this kind of inquiry of ourselves that life has the potential to become something that we experience rather than something that just happens.
This week Doro is in Haiti representing BB&R Wellness Consulting. She is working with The Children’s Nutrition Program of Haiti. The mission of this amazing organization is to help educate mother’s on how best to feed and nourish their children. Dr. Mutter, who founded the program, recognized that it is through nutrition education that mother’s can make better decisions for their children’s health and wellbeing even under difficult situations. Dr. Mutter’s position is that if the children can grow up healthier, the country of Haiti can then become stronger. Doro will be posting on our Facebook each day from Haiti, sharing with us her experiences. Please join us in following her and hearing about how kindness, love and education can fill the time between the sun rising and the sun setting and maybe even change the world.
